Copyright Kitchen Workshop
CONFUSED ABOUT COPYRIGHT?
Then this workshop is or for you!!!
SITAC is running a FREE Copyright Kitchen Professional Development Workshop on the 9th of August in the SITAC Boardroom at Winlow House on 75 Woods St Darwin. Topics that will be covered are as follows:
Copyright Kitchen
Just in time learning about copyright, a simple tool to add to your resources. This workshop gives an overview behind the development of the copyright kitchen and the logic it uses. Then the workshop will look at the kitchen, how to identify your ingredients and cook your questions to come up with an answer to your copyright inquiry.
Copyright Essentials
Copyright like most things has changed a lot recently, particularly in the education sector. The online environment has opened a lot of opportunities, such as digital resources, chat rooms, bulletin boards and online repositories, but it has also brought responsibilities. A major player in information law is copyright, this session will briefly explore how the copyright law applies in the education and online environment, and the practical considerations in managing education in today’s vocational environment.
Workshop 2:
The who owns what dilemma, and what can they do with it. Whether you are a private provider or a public one, that intangible area of quality service, what your learners learn that makes them valuable to employers, branding is important. This workshop explores the copyright issues of this area, who owns materials developed, and what can the provider – teacher/trainer do with them.
If you are interested in attending please contact Katharina on 08 8942 1651 or admin@sitac.com.au to register. Please see attached for Workshop agenda.
