Second Life Wonders
Hi all,
I'm still actively exploring the wonderful world of Second Life. I have come across quite the range of interesting places. Georgina Nou from DeadlyMob and I meet up in there quite frequently. Here we are in an amazing place, built with Liquid Art. Don't ask me to explain, because as yet I'm not too sure what it means myself.
To date my all time favourite place that I have stumbled across in my second life travels so far, is the Realm of Everwind. It's a Role Play Sim, where you are able to participate as a role play character in the following races:
- Human - Good and Evil
- Dwarf - Good
- Orc - Evil
- Elf - Good
- Drow - Evil
- Faery - Good and Evil
As part of the role play you are able to join a guild, perform Quests, meet people, create mischief and generally just have a lot of fun. I have met quite an intersting aray of people who have been helping me along my way.
I can definately see a use for Second Life in Vocational Education and Training by setting up secure worlds for students in which, role play, Second Life quests and a world rich of information can be utilised to support flexible training delivery.
It's been an interesting journey and I look forward to sharing more of it with you.
Cheers
Kat
